7 Trends Street Stylers Will Be Wearing This Fall

Fall has arrived, and the accompanying fashion is a study in contrast. I have covered predictions based on the fall trends in the past few posts about what insiders will be wearing but now the season has already started, it’s actually time to place the orders for cooler-weather wardrobe. If you have read the previous posts, we saw pieces in the form of delicate pastels, sheer sequin, and pretty shiny things take over the runways, hefty wader boots, head-to-toe layers of black and punk-inspired looks are back.

Of course, we can’t try every single trend that we spot, even if we want to:) but there are certain styles that are speaking louder such as shiny slip dresses, baby pink pieces that are currently filling up our customers’ carts and closets. For F/W’22 designers focus was on wearability. We saw PRADA and few others reintroduced basics as simple as white tank tops, flight jackets, and sleek maxi silhouettes.

Waders – Also known as Chelsea boots. I love the look of them, so cool and forward. Try taller and flat or chunky soles.

Long Silk Dresses – Long silky slip dresses are unquestionably chic and so easy to dress up or down, Try pairing one with chunky cable-knit sweater over the slip dress in any bold color.

Baby Pink – Runways were obsessed with pastels, ties, skirts, button-downs etc. while pale/powder blue, mint green are becoming everyone’s favorite this season, there are specifically all of baby-pink pieces that are popping up everywhere.

Semi-Sheer Skirts – I am not fully into embracing the see-through clothing but PRADA endorsed the semi-sheer skirts trend, which looks like more approachable, think about shiny, mesh, satin fabrics with some embellishment.

Statement Coats – Like it or not, excessive layering is the new style rule for this F/W, that being said, there are so many standouts outerwear styles that are worth trying this fall, from heavy duty leather to fuzzy fold-over coats, options are endless.

Head-to-toe Black – Winter always brings the gothic styles including dark prints, velvet fabrics and make-up trends such black lipsticks and eye shadows, I am certainly not a black lipstick person but styling head-to-toe black is a big YES. Half of my closet is either black or pink, I am eyeing on few Co-Ord sets in black specifically. Even black chunky oversize sweater with black leather pants and high Chelsea boots paired with bold gold hoops would look super chic. TRY IT!!

Suit Sets – It’s been a while I am seeing matching vest and trousers everywhere, something about it feels office chic, if you have been following me around the social media you know my obsession about the blazers, I am definitely styling blazers and miniskirts sets this season.
