Candy Color Cargo Pants –
Cargo pants with exaggerated proportions and heavy pockets are all the rage. SS23 runway collections, as well celebrities like Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber are walking proof of the silhouette’s unexpected comeback. Fresh takes this SS include bright colors and silkier fabrics that make them feel elevated, like we have seen on Fendi’s runway.

Asymmetrical Skirts –
For the past few seasons, the skirt lengths dominating runways have fallen to opposite ends of the hemline spectrum, brands favored either ultra miniskirts or floor-grazing maxi skirts. The new high-low cut feels modern and statement-making and also super versatile, whether you wear one with a cropped tank or layered tanks.

Polka Dots –
There’s something so elegant about graphic black-white polka dots. On the SS runways, everyone from Chanel to Burberry to Proenza Schouler made a case for the dotted shirt, I love the idea of wearing these tops tucked into a jean or a skirt. (Have you seen my recent post on IG?) As the runways showed, this pattern is so compelling when it’s worn from head to toe. Even though polka dot shirts are having its moment, they’re actually a seasonless top. Pair one with a pencil skirt or pull the collar out of a solid crewneck for a hint of pattern.

Statement Short Suits –
If you know me, you know how much I am into suits and blazers in general, for some reason this menswear-inspired tailoring feels really polished. This season, there’s an exciting new take on suiting that feels cool and less traditional – the short suit. With a Bermuda or broad short length, plus an oversized blazer thrown on top, shorts suits are more playful and not just for the office. I would pair these with a slingback puffy sandals for a weekend around the city at museums or brunch.

Grey T-Shirts –
Grey t-shirts have always been a wardrobe must-have, and finding the perfect one is really a scoop, in fact that’s applicable to all the basics, it’s difficult to find a good quality basics, be it tank tops or crewnecks. My personal favorites are grey speckled cotton crewnecks in mid-weight cotton. They are so versatile, and practically go with any look. This season we’re updating them with shimmering brooches. One styling approach I love is gathering the fabric at your waist and securing the brooch to one side of your torso.

Vanity Handbags –
Style got popular after Chanel showcased it on the runway back in the ’90s. Modeled after a jewelry box, it’s a true classic of the brand. Anyone can see why trendsetters such as Katie Holmes or model Winnie Harlow have been spotted sporting this trendy style. It is a must have for avid collectors.
