And the award goes to – Ta-Da- I purchased this on my recent work trip, if you know me for long, you are aware that my go-to scent for the winter is PRADA Candy, for years actually, and I was looking for something new in the same fragrance family for this winter and found this, if you’re vanilla-obsessed, this is the fragrance for you. A warm and sweet gourmand, the three notes of vanilla, vanilla infusion, vanilla caviar, and vanilla absolute, make this the ideal fall and winter scent on its own, or the perfect cozy base for layering other scents on top. too good. trust me:)
Perfumer Olivier Polge transformed 2007’s Chance Eau Fraiche eau de toilette into eau de parfum that has quickly become my new favorite scent. It’s fresh, invigorating, nostalgic, and so wearable thanks to the citron, jasmine, and lingering teakwood notes.
This scent was created by one of my favorite noses, Jerome Epinette. The combination of pink pepper, orange blossom, and florals like jasmine and rose makes it perfect for every day.
Easily one of the best tobacco honey fragrances I’ve ever smelled,” sticky-sweet honey and spicy tobacco will have your nose stuck to your wrist all day.
Fans of Versace’s coveted Dylan Blue and Dylan Turquoise perfumes should consider the brand’s latest release: the fruit-forward Dylan Purple eau de parfum. “I created this scent as an invitation to travel,” perfumer Christophe Raynaud said of the sparkling bergamot, orange, and pear fragrance.
A slightly more robust version of Prada’s first Paradoxe scent, the new Intense eau de parfum contains a warm floral blend of jasmine, Ambrofix, and moss that makes a soft fragrance statement. Whether you decide to wear the versatile scent in cooler or warmer months, you’re practically guaranteed to receive a compliment on how great you smell.” —Tiffany Dodson, associate beauty commerce editor
This potent Elixir is not for those who like a faint fragrance. It makes a bold statement with notes like vanilla absolute, patchouli, and tonka beans, a true woody-amber floral that is ideal for cooler months.
The famed Italian designer’s first fragrance for women is a woody scent that evokes the soft warmth of a cashmere sweater. Anchored by an unusual chestnut accord, the perfume is a master class in modern luxury, featuring a mix of upcycled or sustainably sourced notes and a synthetic amber base created with biotechnology. —Jenna Rosenstein, beauty director
J’adore l’Or is the first release from famed perfumer Francis Kurkdjian as Dior’s new perfume creation director. His take streamlines J’adore’s classic floral bouquet of ylang-ylang, rose, and jasmine, lending a modern vibrancy for new generations. “Christian Dior was in love with flowers since he was a child” Kurkdjian says. “Flowers are the heart of J’adore, and when you zoom in, get rid of the colors and facets you don’t really need, you make it bolder.”
Featuring a blend of white lavender accord and diva lavender heart notes, YSL’s cooler and fresher Libre Absolu Platine nicely stands apart from the other fragrances in its range (all of which I’m equally obsessed with). A consistent olfactory thread woven through each Libre perfume is a hint of orange blossom absolute, which helps ground this slightly more metallic version.
The new Jo Malone English Pear & Sweet Pea is my latest go-to. It isn’t as sweet as you would expect, because it feels fresh and light, which is just what I need to brighten my day.
Associate beauty editor Katie Intner agrees: “I’ve been a longtime fan of English Pear & Freesia, but Jo Malone’s new English Pear & Sweet Pea has quickly become my favorite daytime scent. The powdery sweet pea and amber softens the English pear, which leaves behind a mellow finish that lasts all day long.”
Armani Beauty’s more intensive perfume iteration of its My Way fragrance is next on my list, featuring floral, woody, and gourmand notes. “I think My Way truly signifies carving up my own path, doing things my own way, and being as fearless and free-spirited as possible as I do so,” brand ambassador Sydney Sweeney said.
And that’s the end:)
