Besides stomping on crunchy leaves, carving pumpkins, and inhaling baked apple cider doughnuts, fall makes me think of denim. And with the cozy new season approaching, I’ve been embracing crisp, comfy, and cool jeans that have mostly been unworn for the past few sweltering-hot months. Since I’m wearing jeans on heavy rotation these days, I’m always looking for fresh and trend-forward ways of styling them. From this season’s must-have olive green hues to sleek pointed-toe pumps, take a peek below at the styles that will take your denim from zero to 100 in an instant this fall and winter.

Boho Blouses –

Boho fashion is back thanks to Chemena kamali’s viral collection for Chloe. Pair a ruffled, chiffon, or lace blouse in white or earthy hues with wide-leg jeans to give your denim an off-the-moment look.

Barn Jackets –

Practical, versatile, and cool, thanks to designers such as Prada and Toteme, and celebs such as Gigi Hadid and Dua Lipa sporting them this year, barn jackets are officially trending. The fashion set have been embracing the heritage piece, the perfect topper to style with jeans as the temps start to cool.

Olive & Khaki Green hues –

The dominating shades of green immediately caught my attention on the F/W 24 runways, particularly, rich, earthy olive and khaki green hues layered in various fabrics. It will make any denim outfit look luxe.

Elegant Satin –

From draped dresses to matching sets and elegant blouses in rich shades of burgundy, chocolate brown, olive, ivory, and black, the fall runways were brimming with fluid satin fabrics. Style a silky satin blouse with your jeans for an easy take on the expensive-looking trend.

Suede Bags –

I can’t think of a more perfect combination that sumptuous suede and cool denim in fall. We’re seeing the fashion set tote luxe-looking suede bag in a range of silhouettes, from extra-large totes to boho shoulder bags. Opt for rich, earthy shades of brown, tan, olive, and burgundy for a chic autumnal look.

Pointed-toe-pumps –

For fall 2024, it’s all about sleek pointed-toe pumps and court shoes, a style that was seen all over the runways from Prada to Valentino. Whether they’re poking out of a pair of wide-leg jeans or styled with straight-leg silhouettes, they’re unquestionably one of the most wearable styles of the season.

Leopard Print –

Leopard print is everywhere this fall and one of the coolest ways to style the bold trend is with a pair of relaxed jeans. Whether you opt for just a pop via a bag or shoes or go for a leopard-print blouse, it will make your denim feel fresh and fun for fall.
